Friends Sweep...-thing

Okay. So, thing is, I have a really bad memory. There's people on my friends list that I sort of know, but don't remember how I met them, and then there's others who I don't remember at all (or how I met them). And I feel bad, because when I add someone, I try and make a point to remember them. Because they're usually awesome in ways I can only hope to be. XD

So. Uh. I'm... kind of removing all of the people who I don't know/remember at all. So if you find yourself off of my friend's list (but I'm still on yours), and you happen to see this post - could you, maybe, enlighten me as to where we met? Or something that might jar my memory. ._.;

Also, as a warning for everyone? I'm going to be doing one of two things in the coming month:

1- Delete all the entries from this journal and 'start over'. I need to organize better, and I want to be more productive/make more sense in my posts. XD
2- Change journals. Whether it's create an entirely new account or go back to my old account or even use one of my, uh, three side/writing accounts. *shifty eyes*

I'm really considering the latter one more than anything. But I'll be sure to let everyone know in advance what's going to happen, so in case I do decide to go to a different journal, you won't have an extra one just laying around on your friends list ~~gathering dust~~.

So. Random notings while watching the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie that kind of connect to the second one (but are mostly just me being weird).

I'll update if I notice more.

["Chief Jack Sparrow" just doesn't have the same ring...]
After Elizabeth falls off of the wall-thing while the Commodore is talking to her? They pan to Jack and those two guys at the port he was talking to, and he's telling them, "And then they made me their chief." Any connection to what happens in the second movie, maybe?

["The mark!?"]
Okay, wow, how did I forget about this? Commodore tells Jack he believes thanks are in order for saving Elizabeth and goes to shake his hand, then pulls back his sleeve to reveal the 'P' mark on his wrist. His comments? "Had a brush with the East India Trading Company, did we, pirate?" Jack looks rather uncomfortable at that remark, and Governor Swann says to hang him. o_O Shows why no one seemed to like Beckett in the second movie, I guess.

[The compass and the Pearl - trivial questions, dear Will.]
Will: How is it that Jack came by that compass?
Gibbs: Not a lot's known about Jack Sparrow fore he showed up in Tortuga with a mind to go after the treasure of the Isla de Muerta. That was before I'd met him. Back when he was captain of the Black Pearl.
Will: *looks surprised* What?
Gibbs: *looks uncomfortable, almost chokes on his drink*
Will: He failed to mention that.

[Barbossa bleeding while undead...?]
When Elizabeth is on the ship with Barbossa and his crew, she ends up stabbing him with a knife when he has her dine with him. And then Barbossa pulls the knife out, and there's blood on it. Should that be possible? O_o

[The Treasure + History of the Black Pearl?]
Barbossa makes a comment about how they've waited 10 years (to lift the curse). And I'm guessing they stole the treasure after Jack was mutinied? There's actually a point to this part, but I'll get to it later. *lazy*

[The undead monkey, wtf?]
I totally forgot about this, but it was refreshed in my mind after the movie. If you watch after the credits, you see the monkey go back and steal some of the 'cursed Aztec gold'. Hence, he is now cursed and thus undead from that point forward. XP Though that still doesn't explain how Barbossa is alive when Jack shot him once he turned mortal.

The only things I won't write, as usual, are incest (unless it's Yamato/Takeru from Digimon 01/02 or Kouji/Kouichi from Digimon 04) or, uh, masturbation/sex scenes. I think that about covers everything.

Yes, I know I have a lot of ideas and such to work on as it is. But as I said before, sometimes one idea gives me more inspiration than others. Sal's drabble prompts helped me out for the longest time, but now I just can't seem to get anything else out. So I'm hoping maybe one of you guys can help get the juices flowing.

Earlier this year I posted up two links to all my fanfiction ideas. And then I proceeded to ask people if there were any specific ones they wanted to see.

These are the ones I will definitely attempt to work on this summer, as well as the following:

- Something to do with Twinkies for Sasha (have a couple of random ideas)
- A Greyback/Sirius fic for Sasha (if I can think of something)
- A Yamato/Miyako fic for Sasha (if I can think of something)
- An Enrique/Olivier fic for Taina (possibly the one I never finished, but may start a new one)
- A Daisuke/Miyako fic for Taina (maybe a drabble, depending on what ideas I get)
- dark!Josh stealing Takeru's Crest for Taina (probably a crack!fic, because dark!Josh doesn't appear until 02 for the first time)
- A Benoit/Austin fic for Trin (maybe one of the ones I haven't finished yet, maybe a new one)
- drunk!Seto for Ryoko (because the idea was just too amusing at the time to pass up)
- Prideshipping 2-part fic for Motsumi (because I seriously owe her something)
- Sirius/James friendship fic
- Daisuke/Takeru one-shot

However! I will, again, be taking requests for things to write. Because I like a variation of ideas, and sometimes one idea can get my inspiration flowing better than another. :D

So, here's what I will and will not do, as far as requests go.

Fandoms
Beyblade, Digimon, Harry Potter, Wrestling, Yu-Gi-Oh

Pairings
BeyBlade: Just about anything, really, as long as I know the characters. (But no incest. ;O)
Digimon: From Adventure/Adventure 02, the only things I'm rather iffy about doing are: Taichi/Sora, Jyou/Mimi, Yamato/Sora, Takeru/Hikari, or incest pairings (...with the exception of Yamato/Takeru. They're too hot together for their own damn good).
From Tamers, the only things I'm rather iffy about doing are: Ryo/anybody (because I'm very unfamiliar with his character) and incest pairings.
From Frontier, the only things I'm rather iffy about doing are: incest pairings (with the exception of Kouji/Kouichi, because, like Yamato/Takeru, they're too hot together for their own damn good).
As far as any other series (Savers, X-Evo, etc) - I'm not familiar enough with them. Sorry. ;-;
Overall: I don't mind shounen-ai/yaoi or shoujo-ai/yuri. Crossbreeding is fine as well, if I can find a way to handle it. Yes, even Digimon pairings are fine. xD

Wrestling: Anything slashy, except for incest. I could try my hand at het pairings, but don't expect much.

I have no problem with slash/yaoi/femmeslash/yuri or language. Rape and lemon are still uncomfortable subjects for me, so try and avoid that if possible. xD; Um... fluff and angst are fun subjects. Char death and suicide-stuff I write on a very rare occasion. Incest/twincest is also usually a rather big no-no for me, unless it's one of the two pairings mentioned above (Yamato/Takeru and Kouji/Kouichi). Um... I think that's about it. :3

Anything Else
If you really MUST have a pairing that's listed as a "no-no" above... we'll see. I'm not entirely against Taiora/Jyoumi/Sorato/Takari and other pairings, it's just I have a lot of pairings I would prefer above them. But if you really want a drabble/fic about them, ask.
